Davis is about to accept an offer for Ph.D. school in Mathematics. I'm not sure how Erin knew this, but here is the evidence: The only time we ever had matching team spirit shirts (we never had Aggie or Rice Owl shirts) was when our dear internet friend Angela Thomas (Christi's mom) sent us these:
If you can't read the script, both shirts say Ohio State Buckeyes.

PhD school. that's what I call it too. congrats to Davis.. but does he REALLY want to do this? *sigh* sounds like he probably does, and luckily because he's an AK (that would be academia kid, like myself) he knows what he's getting himself into. :)

My parents met at Ohio State so I know that I wouldn't be here if it were not for that fine institution. All of our very best wishes to Davis! Maybe we'll be able to visit him in 2011 when we go to our family reunion! (I have lots of relatives in Ohio!!)
